So this is my take on the very famous characters Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, personally my favourite DC females. I wanted to give them a different feel to the classic takes, Ivy came out very similar to what had come before I mean why fix what ain't broke, with Harley it was a whole different kettle of fish. She has had so many different looks over the years, in games comics and cartoons. Too be honest I think the classic Bruce Timm style is the best, the carefree lunatic in a jester outfit it just works so well. However, recently in the comics they have been seriously influenced by the game versions which have made her more of a goth chick which works in that world but I think lack the same class in the comics. Saying that when it came to me bringing my own try I found myself leaning more to the biker look. I think my next stab at these two will be a little more out there. The picture itself is a little bit of an experiment with materials and composition, a trial run if you will. Hopefully if I can get my act together I will have the next version of this done soon. In the mean time I have more work that will be popping up little bits and pieces I knock up daily. Now I must stop talking as I have rambled quite a while.
